"Structuring Schools for Success - Making the Vison Work for All Students (Regardless of where they may live and attend school)

Parents in Sylacauga (Alabama) City Schools have asked Citizens for Better Schools www.cfbsedu.org to provide advisory services in support of their efforts to reform their schools.  The Sylacauga City Schools system remains under federal court order to desegregate schools.  Parents have protested lack of African American teachers in the school district, as will as a "racially hostile atmosphere for black students.

This page will regularly report on efforts to reform Sylacauga City Schools.
